![]() ![]() Side A is the recording, without any effect and only light editing, EQ and mixing. Recorded by a AB Setup with two B&K 4006 microphones, on a 633 Sound Devices recorder, in Wave 96kHz 24bit. It seems that Félix Blume is playing with our perception, from bliss to horror. Horns are still heard, but they’re a different kind of horns. The warmth disappears to become cold ambiance, beautifully textured and enigmatic sounds take over. If those eighteen minutes sound tremendously real, the three tracks on the other side feel like a horror film. ![]() It’s one of the many crafts of Félix Blume, the more you live with his music, the more you focus outside the plot. #Fog horn sound full#Hidden melodies are revealed when you listen to this with your full attention, and the more you do it, the horns become less present, vivid. The horns are the metal section of an orchestra, while the rest works like the strings. The surrounding sounds are the heartbeat of this track. The horns dominate but sounds of the surroundings create a perfect balance to the drone hysteria. In the eighteen minutes of the first side, Félix Blume explores the concept of a concert played by those horns. Jokes aside, there’s something magical about these horns. In a way, B side sounds like the perfect soundtrack for the recent remake of “Suspiria”. The A side reveals a long track recorded during a fog horn concert whilst side B features three ‘remixes’ of the same recordings, paying respect to what Ingram Marshall did in “Fog Tropes” in three different ‘movements’. High reliability and low cost of ownership make our nautical foghorns your safest and most cost-effective solution, no matter where you are located in the world. And he has done it again. The foghorn signal should be capable of operating continuously at full power from a UPS supply, which will activate in the event of mains power failure. The stainless steel diaphragm ensures long-term performance and stability. Because the light-alloy body of our foghorn is specially provided with a seawater-resistant coating, it can optimally cope with the unforgiving environment in which you operate. Our device has a double power source to meet redundancy requirements and is suitable for zones 1 and 2 gas explosion hazard areas (ATEX & IECEx certified). Thanks to our use of smart technology, Orga has integrated the main and secondary foghorn into one marine foghorn. Orga’s foghorn complies with a range of European and US regulations. The effective range of the main foghorn is at least two nautical miles (134dB(A) at 1 metre), with the secondary one being at least 0.5 nautical miles in any direction, complemented by an excellent 360-degree horizontal sound divergence. #Fog horn sound code#The sound character emitted by the main foghorn is a Morse code ‘U’ every 30 seconds, and this is controlled by the Orga Navaids Central Control Panel (NCCP). Orga’s FH800(3)EX complies with this requirement. In the UK, main/secondary foghorns are required to meet the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change – standard marking schedule for offshore installations regulations.
